Create beady pockets with the children by experimenting with other materials. Ask the children to think of what materials they could use to replicate a mini beady pocket for e.g., could they use cardboard and string or recyclable packaging?

Encourage the children to use buttons, stickers, or pictures they have drawn to stick on to their beady pocket.

SPHE:

Encourage the children to share what important things or names of people they put inside their beady pockets.
