Inclusive Learning & Employment

17/09/2024

More often than not teachers across the country use their own money to buy resources that make learning more fun and inclusive for the diverse learning needs of their pupils. Considering the hours it takes to develop and create differentiated lessons it's important to know that workplaces are also working hard to provide inclusive work environments for pupils when they leave school. Mr. Price supports people from all backgrounds and abilities in accessing employment opportunities. You are not turned away because of your name, accent, address, disability or additional learning needs.

Unfortunately many young people that encounter educational adversity due to poverty, disability and/or marginalization encounter even greater barriers when trying to access employment after school. This is despite the many years of hard work teachers put in to encourage them to stay in education and harvest many skills needed for future employment.

As educators, it is important to know that the money you spend to create inclusive lessons is also used to create inclusive employment opportunities.

If you want children to learn about the important role of companies like these and their sales assistants play in our communities you can access free learning content on simplyinclusive.ie.
